Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing membership, premium, and claims queries efficiently.
  • Query Resolution: Manage complex or irate callers with patience and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to the relevant teams.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with mailbox coordination, data capturing, and general administrative tasks during peak periods.
  • Complaint Management: Address and resolve customer complaints effectively, ensuring adherence to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and support ad hoc requests across the Admed Division.

Requirements

  • Education: Matric certificate. A qualification in customer service, call centre operations, or administration is advantageous.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of inbound call centre experience.
    • At least 1 year of administrative experience.
    • Experience in gap cover, medical schemes, or related fields is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in MS Office and basic computer applications.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
    • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
    • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
