Minimum Qualification Requirements – Learnership
To qualify for this learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics (pure, not Mathematical Literacy) and English.
- Must be medically fit to work in a mining environment.
- Clear security clearance.
- A valid driver’s license (if applicable).
- Prior experience in mining or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Learning and Development Objectives
- Fully engage in all learning modules and program activities.
- Complete assigned training within the stipulated timeframe.
- Address any training-related concerns by escalating them when necessary.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures throughout the program.
Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance
- Follow all industry safety standards and company regulations.
- Participate in mandatory safety training sessions.
- Utilize all prescribed protective equipment properly.
- Identify workplace hazards and contribute to risk assessments.
- Maintain compliance with the company’s health and safety policies.
Reporting and Communication
- Document and report progress regularly to assigned mentors.
- Communicate any challenges faced during the program.
